Lauren Marchefka

Lauren is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in integrative psychiatry and functional mental health. She founded Deep See Wellness from a deeply personal understanding that true healing requires looking beneath the surface, past the labels and the prescriptions, to the root of what's actually happening in the body and mind.

With advanced training in brain health, hormonal optimization, ketamine-assisted therapy, and nervous system regulation, Lauren bridges the gap between conventional psychiatry and root-cause mental health. Her approach to personalized mental health care is methodical yet deeply intuitive, evidence-based yet profoundly human.

Lauren's education spans some of the most respected institutions in medicine and mental health. She trained in brain health and SPECT imaging methodology under Dr. Daniel Amen, and completed specialized study at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in ketamine-assisted and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Her clinical foundations were shaped at Duke University and the University of Michigan. She is also an anti-aging diplomate through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), giving her a rare breadth that spans conventional nursing science, functional medicine, longevity science, and the emerging field of integrative psychiatry.

She believes that anxiety, burnout, brain fog, and fatigue are not character flaws or permanent diagnoses; they are signals. And when we learn to listen to those signals with the right support, real transformation becomes possible.
